Garrotxa Tech is a private association with a profit motive. L'Space 01, owned by Garrotxa Tech, is a center of innovation, business and entrepreneurship in the heart of Garrotxa. We help people and emerging companies to have a way to develop and connect with the innovative and entrepreneurial ecosystem of La Garrotxa and Catalonia. The building, built in 1940 by the Simon Factory, is a unique example of post-war rationalist architecture, the work of architect Joan Aubert i Camps. With an austere and functional structure, it will be a point of reference for the local industry for decades. Currently, an interior part has been redesigned by architect Xevi Bayona and team, transforming it into a space of innovation that combines historical value with the needs of the present. Our interior spaces, versatile and contemporary, maintain the industrial essence while adapting to the dynamics of startups, technological projects and creative initiatives. With this renovation, Pou del Glaç street has become an emblematic space that symbolizes the convergence between heritage and future, becoming a hub of activity and talent in the heart of Olot.
